Director

Julie Hartley

Julie is the lead expert practitioner at Oak Education. She holds a BA (hons) & PGCE and has many years hands-on experience teaching young people in the North West with educational needs that can’t be met by a mainstream education route.

With a passion for helping every young person get the education they deserve, Julie is always on the lookout for new learning tools and techniques to improve the quality of service provided to young people by Oak Education.

A great friend and colleague, Gerard Knight, is currently the Chief Operating & Technical Officer at Cha Technologies Group, as well as recently becoming business consultant here at Oak Education.

Gerard’s passion for education is reflected in his plethora of business ideas for our service. In partnering with Gerard, we look forward to expanding our service, and bringing our quality of education to as many young people as we can.

Larches & Savick Boxing Club

We are also partnered with Larches & Savick ABC Boxing Academy, a fantastic club for upcoming and notable young boxers.

The facilities provided by the club – refurbished in 2013 – are a brilliant communal space to be used as classrooms by Oak Education and other providers.

We have paired with the founders of the club, Joe Kilshaw and Jimmy Moon, who are both professionally rated boxers, and both extremely passionate about providing the best value of academic as well as physical education for young people.

High Support

We offer a programme of personalised learning up to GCSE level & beyond, in a range of subjects, as requested.

All of our learning plans are tailored individually to suit the needs of each student across a range of subjects from Foundation to Key Stages 5
